Quatrefoil Floral Dish

This is a really nice dish made by Meissen in about 1750. I do believe it is a teapot undertray but could also be a spoon rest or anything else you want it to be :) The piece has a nice shape to it and is superbly hand painted with flowers in the very early Deutsche Blumen style still influenced by the woodcut style of the 1740s so it probably dates to jsut before 1750. The edge has their typical brown trim to it. A really nice quality piece! The tray is in perfect condition with some very very minor wear. It is 1 inch tall, 6.5 inches wide and 5.25 inches deep. The piece is marked with the blue crossed swords mark underneath as well as an impressed number 29. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
